Magic Oyster Creek, near the Oyster Dome, adjacent to Taylor Oyster Farm, by the Oyster Bar.  Finish near the Chuckanut Manor and their Oysters or visit Edison Tavern for even more Oysters!

What: 7 Pristine Mountain Lakes (Pine, Cedar, Mudd, Lost, Lily, Lizard and Fragrance lakes) near Puget Sound connected by approximately 32 miles of forested trails through the Chuckanut Mountains in Northwest Washington State.  Near Bellingham.
Tag all Seven Lakes, Finish at Blanchard Mountain Overlook.

An Asynchronous Eco Event.  Solo or team Mountain bike, run or walk race, one day, 7 lakes, approx 10,000 feet elevation gain, finish with GPS evidence at Blanchard Mountain overlook in the South end of the Chuckanuts.   You pick the day, bring a GPS if you want to earn a spot on the list of official finishers.

The Race is on to save the Chuckanut Corridor from development, logging, overuse, abuse and gradual neglect.    Finish the race, buy the T-shirt ( Special Black  Oysterman Version with your rank.)  Or just buy a "Oysterman Supporter" T-Shirt.  All proceeds go to saving the Chuckanut Corridor. 

7 Lake Elevation Gain: nearly10,000 feet.


The goal of the race is to raise awareness of what is being lost and how we can work together save it. 

The Chuckanut Corridor is one of the last remaining undeveloped forested links from the Puget Sound to the Cascade Mountains. Located South of Bellingham, WA.

The first confirmed Chuckanut Oysterman 7 Lake Loop was run April of 2011. Total time to complete: 10 hours.  32 Miles, 9,964 feet elevation gain.  Finished at Blanchard Mountain.

Can you beat the time of this 56 year old Fish and Wildlife Agent?  Huh?  10 Hours.

2015 Update New Rules:  Must start by Dawn (avoid hikers),  Must have NOT rained in previous 5 days, Must carry 2 Gallons of Water.

 Alan's Tips.  A. Don't get lost.  B. Bring LOTS of water.  (2 Gallons, you will need it.) C. Don't crash and bleed all over the place from you knees.
